What you enter stays on your device
Photos you choose are cropped and processed on your device and are never uploaded to our server. When you add a photo, the face-detection and optional background models are downloaded to your browser from Google (storage.googleapis.com) and jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net); your photo is not sent to them. There are no accounts and no sign-up.
Cookies and browser storage
Your browser's local storage keeps your last chosen document type and, if you bought it, the unlock flag. Nothing there is sent to us; clearing site data removes it.
Analytics and third parties
- We count page views with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not set cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not store your IP address. It records things like the page you opened, the referring site, browser type, screen size and approximate country.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google's servers.
- A small launch badge image is loaded from fazier.com.
- The optional $4.99 watermark-free unlock is paid on a Stripe page. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and are never seen by us; Stripe shares with us only what is needed for the payment, such as the amount and your email. After payment Stripe sends you back to this site, which saves an unlock flag in your browser.
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell data, show ads, or build profiles of visitors.
