Online passport photo maker
PassPhotoSnap turns a photo you take at home into a correctly sized passport or visa photo. You choose the country, line your face up with that country's head-size guides, and download a JPG or a 4 × 6 print sheet. The photo is processed on your device and never uploaded.
Supported sizes
| Document | Output | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| US passport and visa | 2 × 2 in, 600 × 600 px | US rules |
| UK passport (paper form) | 35 × 45 mm | UK rules |
| India passport | 630 × 810 px | India rules |
| Schengen visa | 35 × 45 mm | Schengen rules |
| Australia passport | 35 × 45 mm, original background only | Australia rules |
What the tool does
- Crops and scales to the right size, with guides for head height and eye line.
- Straightens a slightly tilted photo.
- Exports a single photo or a 4 × 6 sheet for a drugstore or kiosk print.
- Offers background options. Several countries, including the US, Australia and Canada, do not accept digitally changed backgrounds, so for those use Keep original and shoot against a plain white wall.
What it will not do
- It never retouches faces: no smoothing, filters, or reshaping. Passport offices reject edited faces.
- It cannot make a Canadian passport photo, because Canada requires a studio photographer (why).
- It cannot guarantee acceptance. The issuing office always makes the final decision.
Pricing
Making and downloading photos is free, with a small watermark. Removing the watermark costs $4.99, paid once. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and nothing renews. The unlock applies to the browser you paid on. If something goes wrong with an unlock, email [email protected] within 7 days for a refund.
Before you print or upload
Run through the rejection self-check: it covers the problems that get most home-made photos sent back.
